The PRiSM group is an active interdisciplinary community of academics who work together to champion, support and facilitate evidence based curriculum development in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

In being a PRiSM member academic staff create a “test-bed” for educational innovations, providing the necessary support for discussions and ensuring the educational and pedagogic rigour of the initiatives prior to their implementation. Members are at the forefront of implementation and championing widespread adoption where appropriate.

Most of the PRiSM members are fellows of the Higher Education Academy and participate in National and International Higher Education pedagogic conferences, events and activities. PRiSM members are invited to put forward suggestions that might be of mutual benefit to the group as a whole, such as organising relevant events and inviting guest speakers.

PRiSM is an open group of academics that have an interest in enhancing student education in the STEM disciplines, and new members of the group are always welcome. Please contact Samantha or Kelvin to find out more.
